The taste of Northern Italy is a fitting accent to rare occasions. Such a magical place nestles at the corner of Coffee and Main Strees in Greenville.
Ristorante Bergamo affirms the enchanting ambiance that enhances the wine, appetizers, and all the courses throughout the fine food experience.

Hospitality is welcoming and accommodating, gently suggestive and affirming, making sure we miss nothing while simultaneously acknowledging our preferences.

Our choice of appetizer last night was the crab linguine, light and seductive; this primo set the stage for the breast of duck.

This rich, slightly gamey flavor, succulent texture, and incredible contrast between tender meat and crispy skin are achieved by rendering its flavorful fat, which is paired with a sweet/tart fruit sauce, and glazed to balance its richness.

Congratulations to Chef Gian Pietro Ferro for this tasty treat from an authentic Italian dish.

Our waiter, David Podergois, was not kidding when he promised that the tiramisu was the best in the Upstate.
What a fitting end for our gastronomic delight. As expected, it was light, flavorful, eye candy, and succulent victory.
We all won.
