A master baker has found her niche

Anita Evans is not a quitter. Once she has set her mind on a good business idea, she sees it through.


Evans, a lover of sweets, contracted various health challenges that restricted her consumption of desserts. To circumvent the doctor’s dictum, she created plant-based recipes that can be consumed in moderation by diabetics, persons with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and other conditions.

Evans is the heart and soul behind Sweet Bites Bakery, LLC. With over 30 years of baking experience and a degree in culinary arts, her passion for creating delicious, plant-based desserts comes from a deeply personal place.


Evans’ search for healthy desserts in the marketplace proved vain. So she set out to create suitable recipes for her condition. Trial and error was tedious, exhausting, and often frustrating.  But, in time, she succeeded.


Since 2019, she has made a name for herself as the pie baker of healthy desserts for people with food sensitivities to gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, and nuts, as well as other food restrictions.

Evans founded Sweet Bites Bakery to bake safe, tasty treats for her admiring public, who often missed out on the fun.


Anita’s expertise in the kitchen, combined with her commitment to using only the freshest, organic, plant-based ingredients, has made Sweet Bites Bakery a trusted name in the Greenville area.


She perfected recipes that please the most fastidious foodie without sacrificing flavor or quality.
