“The Hall of Fame Champions were selected for their extraordinary leadership and contributions to the community over many years. These four individuals have inspired us all with their leadership and accomplishments. We are honored to recognize them in the Phillis Wheatley Hall of Fame Champions so that future generations will continue to learn from their legacies.”
Debra Rice, Chair, Phillis Wheatley Community Center Board of Director said: “We are thrilled to celebrate these leaders and to show our gratitude for their leadership. As an alumnus of the center, I know how powerful it is for our young people to have examples of how to excel in business and the arts, how to serve the public as an elected official, and how to give back to their community.”
