Making Peace in a Turbulent World
Be assured that because you opted to read this article, you could be on your way to a more peaceful day, and it could save your life.

Try not to make waves
We are often mood driven. So, a bad mood reverberates turbulence on the waters. Make yourself think positive and calming thoughts, dispelling nightmare moods.
Listen before you speak and have a clear objective
Not all speech is serious, but it can be free of malice and contempt. Before speaking, ask what is the objective of my comment?
Speak gently with insight and feeling
Care about others. Remembering that others are human too, and our speech will elevate, ennobling others and enriching ourselves as a byproduct of the process.
Cultivate good vibes and others will sense it

See the value in others. Study the big picture of community life. Strive to be helpful in things large and small. It creates positive ripples in the universal current of life.
Think about your appearance from a public view, not your own
The best fashions are not introverted, but community minded. Our attire and comportment can disarm others.
Present an inviting image and invite others into your space by gesture and compartment
Follow the pattern of a friendly uncle, aunt or grandmother. They warmly invite others into their happy world. Smiles are great.
Care for others and they will care about you
It feels good when others care about us, doing small gestures that make us feel valued, wanted, and appreciated. Pay it forward.
Sure, the world is disturbed, you don’t have to be. Make the right choice. Be a force for peace.
