Three local businesses and organizations were honored during the event’s award ceremony on May 8:
Community Champion Award: Oak and Ave Property Group
Emerging Small Business Award: CAIRS Shoes
Business Excellence Award: Forever Yung Day Spa
CommunityWorks, a nonprofit lending institution, celebrated local small businesses and community champions at Empowering Entrepreneurship.
The event was held in celebration of National Small Business Week, offering a networking opportunity for the entrepreneurs and community members in attendance. It was held at the City Club of Greenville.
LaTorrie Geer, CEO of CommunityWorks, said Empowering Entrepreneurship is an opportunity to celebrate the businesses and organizations making a lasting impact in the local community and creating jobs.
“At CommunityWorks, we are dedicated to fostering the growth of small businesses and strengthening our local economy,” Geer said.
