We saw the way Colorado dominated UCF in an impressive onslaught. But do you know the backstory?

We get the impressive talent on the Colorado squad, both front lines, both defense and offense, on the starting lineup and the bench.

Do you think you know Travis Hunter? Look again.

Travis Hunter

There has never been another college athlete like Hunter. When healthy, he plays every snap of the game, defense and offense. Yes, he is a corner back on defense and a wide receiver on offense.

That makes him a triple threat.  While on offense he knows better how to play his opponent. And when on defense, he knows better how to counter his opponent. See how the synergism multiplies the benefits in his favor.

And the proof is in the stats.

Who else has that awesome energy output and the willingness to play football at such a high level? He’s a league above the rest.

Athletic star

Elusive, who can tackle him. He is so electrifying on offense that his defensive prowess has probably become slightly underrated.

For example, his opponents eye the ball and seem to be in perfect position to snag the catch; but Hunter comes out of nowhere and snatches the ball; and, eluding tackles, he darts for massive yards, putting his team in good position and preventing his opponent from getting a  touchdown.

Speed

Hunter has been clocked at 21.4 MPH. That did not occur in the Combine, but in a real game.

Prowess

Power, finesse, speed, stamina, toughness: qualities that keep on going while the opponents grow visibly feeble and frustrated. When I hear the word prowess, mastery and capacity flash into mind.

Brainiac

How do you measure intelligence. Try a 4.0 in class. Add a level of difficulty as in majoring in psychology.  Now you know a little more about Travis Hunter.
