Star player flips from Georgia to Gamecocks

COLUMBIA —  A four-star recruit Damola Ajidahun signed with the Gamecocks instead of Georgia Tech on Wednesday. South Carolina football has its third flip on national signing day.

Ajidahun is a 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive tackle from Duluth, Georgia, rated No. 23 for offensive tackles in the class of 2025 and No. 29 in Georgia according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Coach Shane Beamer gave a warning before the announcement by posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, Wednesday afternoon shortly before his press conference and wrote, "NOT DONE !!!!!! A BIG-Time call this afternoon."
