Nicholtown Community Center is undergoing a major renovation. This fresh start is more than skin-deep. It will provide residents with a facility to meet their needs into the future. The project includes substantial upgrades to the 6,048-square-foot facility located at 112 Rebecca Street, including interior and exterior work as well as park improvements, including:

A new multi-use field and walking track
New outdoor fitness and playground equipment
New shelters and parking lot, and upgrades to the existing parking
New basketball hoops, court surface, lighting and fencing
New interior room design, improving meeting spaces and gathering areas
I am running a few minutes late; my previous meeting is running over.
City Council approved $4.9 million for Nicholtown Community Center renovations using a combination of City and state funding. Construction will began in the spring of 2025 and is expected to continue for nine to 12 months.

The City seeks to connect qualified, local, small, mino
rity and/or women-owned subcontractors for opportunities with Cely Construction. Contractors may email Rod Gray.
