Special event: the Greenville Jazz Festival 2025 is taking place on May 29 and 30 in the heart of downtown, marking its third annual celebration of soul, sounds, and culture.

Operated and run by the City of Greenville, this year's jazz festival will feature a diverse range of genres, including New Orleans Swing, Big Band, Latin jazz, jazz vocals, and more, all gathering near Broad and Main Streets this weekend.

The two-day celebration combines education and entertainment for a weekend that will highlight nine featured women jazz players, local jazz bands and performers, as well as a chance to experience a second line —a New Orleans-style parade often used in joyful procession.


In total, the Greenville Jazz Festival will host two stages, featuring 18 musical acts, 14 food trucks, and more for visitors to experience in downtown Greenville.

What are the hours for Greenville Jazz Festival 2025?

  • May 29 — 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

  • May 30 — 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Who will play at Greenville Jazz Festival 2025?

This year's festival will feature the Reedy Stage, presented by Spinx, and the Roots Stage, presented by SC Operation Lifesaver, hosting 18 musical acts along Main Street, from East Court to River Street.


On May 29, between the two stages, the following artists are scheduled to perform:

  • Tamika Howard Quartet, Calixto Oviedo & Afro Jazz Quartet, Yam Yam, Blue Notes Band, The Darren Jackson Encounter and The Soul Rebels

On May 30, between the two stages, the following artists are scheduled to perform:


  • A Second Line, Greenville Brass Connection, Absinthe Mind, Shannon Hoover Trio, Art of Theves, Brass Queens, Nate Smith, Olayemi Ogundola, All County Jazz Ensemble, Gwen Hughes Jazz of the Soul, Dirk Quinn Band, Greenville Jazz Collective Big Band.

Which food vendors will be at Greenville Jazz Festival 2025?

The 2025 Greenville Jazz Festival will feature 14 food trucks during its two-day music event. The festival food lineup will include:

Food truck menu items are priced between $3 and $15 each, and beer, wine, and Pepsi product purchases range from $2 to $6 per serving.

Parking, road closures, biking options for the Greenville Jazz Festival

During the two-day festival, it is essential to be aware of parking spaces, biking options, and road closures when navigating the downtown area.


Parking garages near festival grounds?

All parking garages near the 2025 Greenville Jazz Festival will be open and available for visitors. Spaces in the Broad Street, Spring Street, Poinsett Garage and River Street Garage will be available for $5 all-day parking access. If a parking structure visitor leaves and returns in their vehicle, they will be required to pay a re-entry fee.


Road closures near Jazz Festival grounds?

Beginning at 5 a.m. on May 30, Main Street, from East Court to River Street, will be closed alongside the cross section of Main and Broad Street and Falls Park Drive. These road closure changes will remain in effect through the festival into late Saturday evening, pending approval for reopening by local authorities.

Additionally, there will be various Greenville Bike Taxis available near downtown to assist those near the festival grounds in reaching a designated location.
