A California kid scored 102 points in a single basketball game.
Nick Khatchikian, a senior guard at Mesrobian High School in Pico Rivera, California, scored 102 points in a single high school basketball game on January 24, 2025. This broke the state's single-game scoring record.
Khatchikian scored all of his team's points in the first half, helping Mesrobian lead 79-0 at the break.
He shot 48-of-60 from the field, including 3-of-6 three-pointers.
Khatchikian came out of the game with two minutes left in the third quarter.
