Furman men’s soccer was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament second round Sunday with a 4-0 loss to Marshall at Hoops Family Field in Huntington, West Virginia.
Marshall (12-1-7), the No. 13 seed, advances to the quarterfinals and will play Nov. 30 or Dec. 1 at home against N.C. State (10-4-5), which upset No. 4 seed Georgetown, 2-0.
The Thundering Herd scored all of its goals in the first half. Lineker Rodrigues had two, while Haruhi Taneda and Taris Pannholzer had one each
