Construction begins on the pro soccer stadium in Maildin

Construction has begun on the long-awaited pro soccer stadium in Mauldin.


The multi-use stadium will be home to the Greenville Triumph and Greenville Liberty soccer clubs at Mauldin’s BridgeWay Station, the clubs announced Sept. 23.

Plans for the new stadium were announced in October of 2024.


Funding is through a public/private partnership between Greenville Pro Soccer LLC, the parent company of the Greenville Triumph and Greenville Liberty, the city of Mauldin, the state of South Carolina, and Hughes Investments, the developer of BridgeWay Station.


The 6,300-seat stadium will also host youth and college sports, concerts, festivals, marching band competitions, and community events.


Edifice Construction, has been selected as general contractor, while Johnston Design Group is leading architectural design.

The project is expected to be complete in time to host its first matches in 2026.
