11 days of Anderson County Fair: List of attractions, tickets, dates, times, food vendor

The Great Anderson County Fair will return to Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center from May 1 to May 11.
The Anderson County Fair has a rich history, dating back to its inaugural event in 1889.
The fair welcomes thousands of visitors during the first week of May each year and features a variety of attractions, including rides and games, according to a press release.
Attendees can enjoy daily specials, indulge in fair food from various vendors, and experience family-friendly entertainment, ranging from live music to performances.
This year, the fair has announced exciting new rides, including Autobahn, Balloon Cyclops 2.0, Kangaroo, and Runaway Train.
Greater Anderson Fair attractions
The Great Anderson Fair features ground acts and daily shows that are free with paid admission to the fair. This year, visitors can look forward to four new acts every day.
The Fire Guy Show
The Fire Guy show has performances scheduled throughout the week.
From Monday to Friday, attendees can catch the show at 5, 6:30, and 8:30 p.m.
On Saturdays and Sundays, additional performances are set for 2:30 and 4:30 p.m., providing even more opportunities for visitors to enjoy this fiery performance.
According to a press release, as a full-time fire performer for over 20 years, Fire Guy has mastered the art of flame and light shows.
"I can heat up any event and fire up your audience with my flames and light show," the Fire Guy said in a release.
Rock-N-Circus
The Rock-N-Circus will feature high-energy performances that combine rock music with circus acts.
Visitors can catch the show from Monday to Friday, 7 to 9 p.m.
Additional performances on Saturday and Sunday are scheduled for 4, 7, and 9 p.m.
Shane Hansen, a key performer in the Rock-N-Circus spectacle, is known for his daring feats, including a 65-foot dive into a small airbag, according to a release.
The Magic & Entertainment of Bob Bohm
The Magic and Entertainment of Bob Bohem offers a mesmerizing experience for fairgoers, with performances scheduled on Monday through Friday at 7 and 8:30 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays, additional shows are scheduled for 2, 5, and 7 p.m.
Bob Bohm's action-packed magic show is filled with astonishing illusions, live animals, and nonstop laughter, according to a press release.
Attendees can also enjoy a farm-themed challenge, where teams compete in hilarious games to test their agricultural knowledge.
For those seeking more excitement, the Survivor-style showdown features wacky challenges and audience votes to determine the ultimate winner.
Ready-To-Go-Dog Show
The Ready-To-Go-Dog Show is another event at the Great Anderson Fair, showcasing skilled canines.
Performances are scheduled Monday through Friday at 6 and 8 p.m., with additional shows on Saturday and Sunday at 1:30, 4:30, and 7:30 p.m.
The show features world champion Frisbee dogs, thrill-seeking diving dogs, and the world's highest box-jumping dog, according to a press release.
After the performance, fans are invited to a world-class "meet n greet" where they can get up close and personal with the four-legged stars of the show.
Rosaire's Royal Racers
The Rosaire's Royal Racers is another crowd-favorite at the Great Anderson Fair, featuring racing pigs that dash around the track to claim victory.
Performances are scheduled Monday through Friday at 5:30, 7:30, and 9:30 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30, 3:30, 5:30, and 7:30 p.m.
Rosaire's Royal Racers is a family-owned and operated company that performs for audiences nationwide, according to a news release.
This delightful show features three different breeds of pigs that race around the track at every 20-30 minute show throughout the day.
Eudora Farms Pet Zoo
The Eudora Farms Petting Zoo is open every day during the fair hours.
The zoo includes 20 to 25 rare and exotic animals from around the world, according to a press release.
Visitors can see a wallaby, a zebra, and a lemur. Guests can also ride a camel.
Great Anderson Fair food vendors, what to know
The fair features a variety of food vendors offering a diverse selection of treats to satisfy every palate, according to a press release.
From classic carnival snacks like funnel cakes and cotton candy to more hearty options such as barbecue, hot dogs, and burgers.

This year, the fair will open its gates at different times each day, according to a press release.
May 1, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

May 4, 12:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Please note that all hours are subject to change due to weather conditions or at fair management's discretion.
Additionally, entry is not allowed after 9 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday, and after 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Great Anderson Fair's safety policy
The fair has implemented a Youth Attendance Policy.
According to a press release, individuals under 17 must be accompanied by a parent at all times during the event.
Additionally, attendees must adhere to a clear bag policy, allowing only clear bags that do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" in size.
One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags and small clutch purses, no larger than 4.5" x 6.5", are also permitted under the policy.
Diaper bags are allowed but subject to a search upon entry for security reasons.
All guests will be required to pass through metal detectors.
Concealed weapons are strictly prohibited, and security personnel will enforce this policy.
Visitors are advised to leave any prohibited items at home to avoid delays at the entrance.
Great Anderson Fair ticket prices
Ticket prices for the Great Anderson County Fair vary.
General admission is $10, while children 10 and under are admitted for free.
The Mega Pass offers unlimited rides and admission for $25, with individual ride tickets available for $1.25 each.
Daily ride specials
The fair also offers a pay-one-price ride special every day, allowing guests to enjoy unlimited rides for around $20 to $30 per person, depending on the day.
Each day, the fair features a unique pay-one-price ride special, allowing guests to experience unlimited rides for the day at a discounted rate.
This special does not include general admission, so visitors will need to purchase an entry ticket in addition to the ride special.
The daily ride specials are available only on the day of purchase and cannot be used on any other day.
